Dr. Watt is a native of Wichita, Kansas and attended Wichita State University. He then attended the University of Kansas Graduate School and the University of Kansas Medical School. He completed both his Surgery Internship and Neurosurgery Residency at the State University of New York Upstate.
Dr. Watt is a veteran, having served as Chief of Surgery for the 356th Combat Support Hospital and as Assistant Chief of Neurosurgery at Tripler Army Medical Center. He has received The Consumer Research Council’s America’s Top Surgeon award seven times.
Dr. Watt has a passionate interest in “disease prevention” as opposed to just “disease treatment”. He became the first doctor to ever be Board Certified in both Neurosurgery and Anti-Aging Medicine. He has completed Fellowships in Anti-Aging, Rejuvenation and Functional Medicine; and in Clinical Nutrition and Metabolic Medicine. He also holds a Certificate in Age Management Medicine and is a Fellow of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons.
Dr. Watt is a contributing author and medical editor for numerous medical textbooks. He is a nationally recognized authority on preventative medicine and wellness, bringing this perspective to 30 years experience as a Spinal Neurosurgeon. Dr. Watt has his own channel on YouTube (Time Watt, MD) and is a keynote speaker for Baron Ridge Productions.
