David Boedeker is a physician assistant who provides general orthopedic and spine care services in clinic and in surgery, working alongside back, neck, and spine surgeon Dr. Christian Gaffney. David joined Black Hills Orthopedic & Spine Center in 2025 with nearly a decade of experience as a physician assistant. He is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

David earned his Associate of Applied Science degree in nuclear medicine technology and his Bachelor of Science degree in science healthcare systems administration from Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan. He went on to receive his Master of Science degree in physician assistant studies from the University of South Dakota in Vermillion, South Dakota.
