Dawn Ellis, PT, DPT

Dawn grew up in Webster, SD. She studied at Northern State University and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree with a double major in Biology and Environmental Science and a double minor in Psychology and Chemistry. Dawn pursued her dream of becoming a physical therapist and entered the physical therapy program at the University of South Dakota which she received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy.
Her physical therapy interests include neuromuscular re-education, evaluating and treating post-surgical acute care for spinal surgeries at the Black Hills Surgical Hospital, sports rehab, spinal pathologies, and general physical therapy
While at Northern State University, she had a great experience and opportunity to run track and cross country for the Wolves in which she gained lasting memories and friendships. The Ellis family has lived in Rapid City nearly 20 years enjoying the outdoors of the Black Hills by taking pictures, biking, and hiking. Family time is important to them as well as traveling and being with friends.
