Tyler Sarringar joined Black Hills Orthopedic and Spine Center in 2024 after spending his first seven years of his career practicing outpatient orthopedics in Nebraska and South Dakota. He is originally from Pierre, South Dakota, and graduated from T.F. Riggs High School. Tyler received his Bachelor of Science degree in athletic training from Dakota Wesleyan University, where he was a four-time national qualifier for the wrestling team. He then earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of South Dakota with clinical experiences in geriatrics, outpatient orthopedics, and sports medicine.

Tyler has interests in sports medicine, joint replacement, and general orthopedics. He has continued his education in overhead athlete rehabilitation, ACL rehabilitation, and is certified in dry needling.

In his free time, Tyler enjoys hiking, biking, officiating high school wrestling, and spending time with his family and friends.
