Jhett Cihak, PT, DPT, MS, CSCS, ACSM-CEP

Born and raised in Sturgis, Jhett proudly calls the Black Hills home. Before pursuing his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree, he spent three years as a strength and conditioning and human performance coach, working with athletes at Black Hills State University, South Dakota State University, and Cumberland University. He later transitioned into a more clinical role, serving individuals with cardiovascular conditions and leading Sanford USD Medical Center’s cardiac rehabilitation program for two years.
Jhett brings a strong foundation in exercise and sport science and a passion for movement optimization to his practice. He is committed to delivering individualized exercise prescription for people of all ages and abilities—whether returning to sport, managing a chronic condition, or working toward improved functional independence.
Naturally competitive, Jhett enjoys any opportunity to put his skills to the test—whether it's on the field, around the table, or on the Nintendo 64. Outside of the clinic, he stays active through resistance training with his wife, hiking in the Black Hills, and playing softball during the summer. On Sundays, he never misses a Miami Dolphins game. He also enjoys cooking, reading, and training with his dog, Nori.
