World-Class Orthopedics, Where You Need It
Orthopedists, or orthopedic specialists, are physicians and surgeons in the medical subspecialty of orthopedics, which requires a deep understanding of the function of the musculoskeletal system. They are either medical doctors or doctors of osteopathy (MD or DO). Our orthopedic doctors and specialists have extensive training and experience in caring for every bone, joint, muscle, tendon, ligament, and cartilage problem through orthopedic surgery, rehabilitation, and other advanced treatments.
Our specialty-trained providers are proud to offer world-class orthopedics through our locations in Rapid City and Gillette as well as clinics in Hot Springs, SD; Philip, SD; Spearfish, SD; Chadron, NE; Newcastle, WY; and Bowman, ND.
In addition to our specialties in spine and orthopedic services, we provide on-site services such as radiology, workers' compensation, and recovery and rehabilitation care from our physical therapists. We also offer our walk-in Orthopedic Urgent Care clinic at our Rapid City location to treat urgent musculoskeletal injuries, including fractures and ankle, knee, and wrist sprains.

Highly Specialized, Highly Trained—The Highest Level of Treatment for Every Need
Our orthopedic surgeons and medical experts are proud to offer the deepest level of specialization for your musculoskeletal needs. This includes having exceptionally experienced orthopedic surgeons for all subspecialties in orthopedics as well as podiatry and wound care. Our specialties include trauma orthopedics; foot and ankle; back, neck, and spine; hand and wrist; hip and knee; and shoulder and elbow. Our doctors also offer specialization in orthopedics for pediatric patients, joint replacement, and sports medicine.
One of the most common problems orthopedic doctors see is chronic joint pain from arthritis and other degenerative disorders, which can limit your mobility and quality of life. Our Joint Replacement Center orthopedic surgeons have dedicated their practices to keeping patients moving and proudly offer total joint replacement for every joint, including knee replacement surgery, hip replacement surgery, and shoulder replacement surgery.
Beyond joint replacement and care for degenerative disorders, we treat athletes of all ages. Through our Sports Medicine Center, we offer complete sports-related medical care to active people at every skill level. Our Sports Medicine Center orthopedic surgeons are leaders in caring for sports injuries and related disorders, and they stand ready to help any individual regain an active lifestyle and reach their goals.
For children and young adults suffering from simple or complex conditions, such as spine abnormalities and deformities like scoliosis, our fellowship-trained pediatric orthopedic surgeon offers compassionate, expert treatment. He specializes in spine surgery, scoliosis, spinal deformities, and pediatric orthopedics and understands the special care younger patients need.
