“Dr. Lang is a very personable and competent surgeon who had taken care of my husband after he had a hand injury many years ago. After I started experiencing pain in one of my fingers several months ago, I went to Dr. Lang for a consult. Two weeks ago he surgically removed a small glomangioma from my ring finger. My incision is healing nicely and I'm relieved that I will no longer have that pain whenever I bump or use my finger. The Black Hills Orthopedic & Spine Center facility and staff are top notch, and I would highly recommend them and Dr. Lang to my friends.”

He was thorough into finding out what triggered my sharp pains and really showed he cared and wanted to give the best diagnosis and recommendation for me. “I have been helped from a lifelong problem with my feet. The first time I saw Dr. Chilvers, she immediately knew she could help me. I could not have imagined how much she would do just that. My surgery was somewhat extensive (at least to me) but the end result was certainly worth it. I am now mobile in a way I have never been before. Dr. Chilvers was easily accessible when I had questions or needed to see her. Her whole team was pleasant to work with from the front counter, to her assistants, to the rehab department. I would recommend Dr. Chilvers to anyone that has an emergency to someone that suffers in silence. If there is an answer for you, she will have it. I will be forever grateful for her help.”

“My diagnosis, surgery, and follow-up visits were all positive experiences. The surgery was my fourth rotator cuff repair, so I knew what to expect and was not apprehensive about the surgery. I appreciated the more modern and less ivasive procedures now available. This was my sixth orthopedic surgery and I experienced less pain post op and through the healing process than any before. I would gladly refer anyone to both your facility and to Dr. Giuseffi.”

“Have had 2 hips and 2 shoulders replaced at BHO. Dr. Papendick did both shoulders, the last in Feb of 2016. I am already doing all activities as before the surgery. This includes mountain biking, hunting, fishing, and golfing (no it did not improve my score). The four surgeries fit into the, "no big deal" category. I was treated very well by all the folks at BHO and the therapist at their facility.”
