The specialty-trained doctors and surgeons of Black Hills Orthopedic & Spine Center of Wyoming are again serving as the official orthopedic and spine providers for Gillette’s Champions Indoor Football team, the Wyoming Mustangs, during the 2022-23 season. The season marks a number of firsts, including the first season for Champions Indoor Football in Wyoming and the first season for the new local team after two years in the making.
“At Black Hills Orthopedic & Spine Center of Wyoming, we are excited to continue to have Champions Indoor Football in our state and proud to bring compassionate, specialized care to the elite athletes representing Gillette,” says Dr. Robert Grunfeld, fellowship-trained foot and ankle surgeon at Black Hills Orthopedic & Spine Center of Wyoming. “As a team, we will work together to ensure the Mustangs get the full coverage they need to stay strong and get back in the game quickly and safely.”
As the team’s official orthopedic sports medicine providers, the experts at Black Hills Orthopedic & Spine Center of Wyoming will provide athletic injury prevention, recognition, evaluation and treatment for Mustang athletes. As advanced experts in bone, joint and muscle care and sports-related injuries, the orthopedic sports medicine specialists will work as a team to help Mustang players stay in the game.

Douglas Highway, Suite 120, Black Hills Orthopedic & Spine Center of Wyoming offers care to athletes and active individuals of all ages and activity levels Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The board-certified and fellowship-trained surgeons seeing patients at the new, state-of-the-art clinic include:
