At Black Hills Orthopedic & Spine Center, our physician assistants assist our orthopedic doctors to provide the highest level of surgical and nonsurgical care for patients.

Physician assistants are highly trained healthcare providers who work closely with our orthopedic doctors to take medical histories; examine and diagnose patients; educate, guide, and treat patients via therapeutic activity; order and interpret laboratory tests and imaging studies; prescribe medications; treat orthopedic injuries and conditions; and assist in orthopedic surgeries.

Our PAs are trained to recognize when patients need the attention of a supervising doctor or additional specialist.
