Phil Busching, MPT, DPT earned his Master's Degree at Mayo School of Health-Related Sciences in 1995 and earned his Doctorate Degree at Regis University in 2007. He is affiliated with the Rapid City RUSH, Black Hills Rapids Youth Soccer League, and Rushmore Thunder Hockey League. He has been a member of the American Physical Therapy Association since 1995. Phil Busching has been employed at ProMotion Physical Therapy since 1997, taking a 1.5 year sabbatical to work as a PT in California in 2006. In addition to his expertise in back pain, post-operative conditions and peripheral joint pain, Phil specializes in concussion treatment and vestibular/balance rehabilitation.

His outside interests include soccer, all-types of bicycling, all outdoor activities and spending time with his wife, Nancy, and two sons, Levi and Luther. He is co-founder and race director of the Black Hills Back40 mountain bike race, which has raised over $100K for local charities in its 8-year history. In 2019 Phil added "Assistant Coach of the Stevens boys' soccer team" to his list of titles. Ever a student of the game of soccer, he has coached youth soccer, in some capacity, for over 10-years. Phil's affable persona and his communication skills make therapy enjoyable for all of his patients.
