Stephen G. J. Eckrich, M.D.

Dr. Eckrich joined Black Hills Orthopedic and Spine Center in 1995.  He is particularly interested in pediatric spine disorders and scoliosis.  His specialty areas include limb lengthening and reconstruction using various techniques.  He has additional training in pediatric spine and hip deformity.

Dr. Eckrich has recently been elected as the South Dakota State Representative for the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.  He also serves as President of the South Dakota State Orthopedic Society.

Dr. Eckrich is also a pilot and an outdoorsman who enjoys hunting and fishing throughout the Black Hills.
