Kirby joined Black Hills Orthopedic and Spine Center in 2006.  He earned his Nursing degree from South Dakota State University before completing his Medical Studies degree from Midwestern University in Illinois.

Kirby provides orthopedic patient care services in a clinic setting, hospital, ER, and first assist at surgery and is certified through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
