Dr. Fromm, a native to Rapid City, joined Black Hills Orthopedic and Spine Center in 1997. Following completion of his fellowship in Lake Tahoe and prior to his return to the Black Hills, he worked as a full-time physician at the Kirkwood Ski Resort and became a member of the medical staff for the U.S. Pro Ski Tour.

His interests include comprehensive care of the shoulder, hip, and knee. He has earned several patents developing new surgical techniques and implants in the field of orthopedic surgery and has had the opportunity to lecture and teach orthopedic surgeons and their ancillary staff around the world. In addition, Dr. Fromm has also published several research articles and has written several surgical techniques and chapters for text books.
