Clark C. Duchene, M.D.

Clark C. Duchene, M.D. Dr. Duchene joined Black Hills Orthopedic & Spine Center in 2004. He is fellowship trained in Sports Medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. Along with his special interest in sports medicine, he also has an interest in joint replacement of the shoulder, hip, and knee. He also provides care in the areas of trauma and general orthopedics.

Along with providing sports medicine coverage to area high schools, Dr. Duchene serves as the team orthopedic physician for the South Dakota School of Mines & Technology. He also provides sports medicine coverage at many area rodeos as an associate of the Justin Sports Medicine Team.

Dr. Duchene has conducted orthopedic research and teaching, is a published author, and has presented at national physician’s meetings and conferences.

Dr. Duchene is a South Dakota native. He and his wife enjoy western South Dakota where there is a small town feel with the amenities of a larger community. He enjoys hunting and exploring the Black Hills.
